Before booking

Please read the following carefully to ensure my services are the right fit for your curly hair journey.

✔ Deposit to Secure Your Appointment
A £30 deposit is required for all bookings. This secures your appointment and is deducted from the total price, with the remaining balance due on the day.

✔ No Clipper Cuts – I do not currently offer clipper cuts.

✔ Specific Hair Types – I specialise in natural curls and do not work with texturised, keratin-treated, or relaxed hair. If you're unsure whether your hair qualifies, feel free to email or DM me on Facebook or Instagram for clarification.

✔ First-Time Clients – I highly recommend the Curl Transformation service as the best starting point for your curl care journey.

✔ Curly Hair Focus – My expertise is focused specifically on curly hair and helping you understand, embrace and work with your natural texture. If you predominantly wear your hair straight and don't plan to embrace your natural curls, my services may not be the right fit.

✔ Dry Cuts – Available for returning Guests who have had a Curl Devotion cut in the past 7 months.

Dry cuts are also available for children aged 0 to 5 as their first haircut, where this is the most comfortable option for them.

Who My Services Are For?

Hair Prep – Curl Transformation

Preparing your hair properly before your appointment ensures the best results. Please follow the guidelines below for your chosen service.

✔Arrive with Your Natural Curl Pattern:
Please come with your hair dry and in its natural state.

✔ Avoid Styles That Alter Your Texture:
No bobbles, buns, clips, twist-outs, or straightening before your appointment. Your hair should be in its natural curl pattern to ensure the best results.

✔ Detangling Considerations:
Hair should be detangled before your appointment. If extensive detangling is required, this may lead to rescheduling or an additional service charge (see price list for details). This may also impact your appointment time.

✔ Headlice Policy:
Your hair must be free from headlice. If headlice is detected, the service will be terminated immediately, and the full charge will still apply.

✔ Washed & styled Hair
Please wash your hair before your appointment and style it as you normally would. Avoid heavy oils, butters or anything that leaves the hair heavily coated or weighed down.

✔ Allergy Notice:
If you have any allergies, please inform me before your appointment.

Hair Prep – Dry Curly Cut

Preparing your hair properly before your appointment ensures the best results. Please follow the guidelines below.

✔ Cleanse & Define Your Hair Before Your Appointment:
Your hair should be thoroughly cleansed, fully dry, and styled with definition—as discussed during your Curl Transformation appointment.

✔ Avoid Styles That Alter Your Texture:
No bobbles, buns, clips, twist-outs, or straightening before your appointment. Your hair should be in its natural curl pattern.

✔ Headlice Policy:
Your hair must be free from headlice. If headlice is detected, the service will be terminated immediately, and the full charge will still apply.

✔ Dry Cut Only:
This service only includes a dry curly cut and does not include styling.

Hair Prep – Cleanse & Define

Please make sure it is fully detangled and in a manageable condition when you arrive. If significant detangling is needed, this will use part of your appointment time and may mean I’m unable to complete the service as planned or fully dry your hair.

Deposits , Cancellations & No-Shows

💳 Deposit – A £30 deposit is required to secure your appointment. This is deducted from the total cost of your service, with the remaining balance due on the day.

📅 Cancellations & Changes – You can cancel or reschedule your appointment without an additional charge when more than 48 hours’ notice is given.

⏰ Less Than 24 Hours’ Notice – Cancellations or changes made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged 50% of the booked service price.

🚫 No-Shows – If you do not attend your appointment and have not cancelled, 100% of the booked service price will be due.
