Before Booking!

Please read the following carefully to ensure my services are the right fit for your curly hair journey.

✔ Deposit to Secure Your Appointment
A £25 deposit is required for all bookings. This secures your appointment and is deducted from the total price, with the remaining balance due on the day.

✔ No Clipper Cuts – I do not currently offer clipper cuts.
✔ Specific Hair Types – I specialise in natural curls and do not work with texturised, keratin-treated, or relaxed hair. If you're unsure whether your hair qualifies, feel free to email or DM me on Facebook or Instagram for clarification.
✔ First-Time Clients – I highly recommend the Curl Transformation service as the best starting point for your curl care journey.
✔ Curly Hair Focus – My expertise is in curly hair. If you predominantly wear your hair straight and don’t plan to embrace your natural curls, my services may not be the right fit.
✔ Dry Cuts – Available only for returning clients who have had a Curl Devotion cut in the past 6 months. Dry cuts are also available for children aged 0 to 5 as their first haircut, where this is the most comfortable option for them.

Deposits & Booking Requirements

💳 Deposit Requirement – A £25 deposit is required to secure your appointment and is deducted from the total cost of your service. Deposits are refundable with a minimum of 48 hours’ notice. Cancellations or changes made within 48 hours of the appointment will result in the deposit being retained.
📌 Curl Care Consultation Deposit – Full payment is required at the time of booking. This payment is non-refundable if cancelled with less than 48 hours notice.
⏰ After-Hours Appointments – Available on weekdays at 5:00 PM, 5:30 PM, or 6:00 PM.

Cancellations & No-Shows

❌ Cancellation Policy – Cancellations or changes are free up to 48 hours before your appointment. After this window, the deposit may be forfeited at my discretion.
🚫 No-Show Policy – Failing to cancel or missing your appointment will result in the full balance being due.

Product Build-Up Notice

I do not currently offer a service to remove heavy product build-up, but it’s important to note that product build-up can impact your results. If you have been using products containing silicones, waxes, heavy butters, or synthetic oils over time, these can coat the hair and prevent moisture from penetrating. Common culprits include:

  • Silicones (e.g., Dimethicone, Cyclopentasiloxane)

  • Petroleum-based products (e.g., Mineral Oil, Petrolatum)

  • Waxes (e.g., Beeswax, Microcrystalline Wax)

  • Heavy Butters (e.g., Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter in large amounts)

If you’d like to start the removal process before your appointment, I recommend using Innersense Organic Beauty – Detox Hair Mask and following the instructions.

Additionally:
✔ Stop using products containing silicones, waxes, or petroleum-based ingredients.
✔ Opt for lightweight, water-soluble products that won’t build up on the hair.
✔ Clarify with a gentle, sulphate-free detox shampoo to help remove residue gradually without stripping your hair.

During your Curl Transformation appointment, I’ll guide you on how to gently remove build-up over time without causing dryness or damaging your natural curl pattern.
